  • A memory card for your PS Vita system with enough free space.

How to Install RetroArch on Your PS Vita System




  • Connect your PS Vita system and your computer using a USB cable.



  • On your PS Vita system, go to Content Manager > Copy Content > PC to PS Vita System > Applications > PS Vita.



  • Select the RetroArch.vpk file that you downloaded and copy it to your PS Vita system.



  • Disconnect your PS Vita system and your computer.



  • On your PS Vita system, go to Settings > Security > Enable Unsafe Homebrew and turn it on.



  • Go back to the home screen and launch the RetroArch app. It will install itself on your PS Vita system.



  • Once the installation is complete, you can delete the RetroArch.vpk file from your PS Vita system.

  • Connect your PS Vita system and your computer using a USB cable.



  • On your computer, extract the Psvita Biosl zip file that you downloaded. You will get a folder named "retroarch".



  • Copy the "retroarch" folder to the root of your memory card on your PS Vita system. It will overwrite some files in the existing "retroarch" folder that was created by RetroArch.



  • Disconnect your PS Vita system and your computer.



  • On your PS Vita system, launch the RetroArch app.



  • Go to Main Menu > Load Core and select the core that you want to use. For example, if you want to play Amiga games, select "P-UAE".



  • Go to Main Menu > Load Content and select the game that you want to play. For example, if you want to play Turrican II, select "Turrican II.adf".
